Alumni and Community Coordinator 

Camp Nesher, a vibrant and thriving Modern Orthodox Jewish sleepaway camp, seeks an Alumni and Community Coordinator. The coordinator will be responsible for building upon Camp Nesher’s fundraising efforts and coordinating communications and programming for its alumni association, Nesher Kesher. 

As a nonprofit, Camp Nesher is mission-driven and committed to helping each child thrive in a fun, warm and inclusive community. Our camp is growing and we are, therefore, seeking a motivated individual to help rally communal, and alumni support to meet the needs of the families and communities we serve. Additionally, the coordinator will work with Camp Nesher’s Directors and Chief Development Officer to build upon recent fund-raising success through achieving two main goals: 

1) Growing the Kanfei Nesher Society, a group of supporters committed to providing support for Nesher’s programming and scholarship needs. This is a brand-new initiative that already has over 30 participants. The goal is to grow the society to 100+ members over the next year. 

2) Coordinating Nesher Kesher’s communications, programs, and outreach.  

The ideal candidate has/is: 

  • A self-starter and team player 
  • A warm and thoughtful demeanor, comfortable calling current and prospective supporters 
  • Organized and willing to learn 
  • The desire to make a difference in the lives of children 

Specifics on the role: 

  • $25-$30 per hour 
  • Up to 20 hours per week 
  • Office/work from home hybrid model 
  • Growth possibilities depending on success in the role
